Resume Examples
To be
successful, your resume must be a superior expression of
your talents and background. It must be clean, distinctive
and easily read. At the executive level, it must also be
a persuasive advertisement of your ability to express yourself.
Of course, one question that frequently surfaces deals with
the appropriate length of a resume.
Myth
#1 Resumes should never exceed one page in length.
Myth
#2 Two-page resumes are more effective since
they provide more detail.
While
there is much to be said in favor of brevity, a one-page
resume that does not adequately sell the depth of your experience
is doomed to failure. Similarly, a two-page document that
is packed with "filler material" will not impress many readers.
As such, our determination as to the appropriate length
of your resume will be made only after we have had an opportunity
to evaluate your specific background and competitive situation.
While
we work with managers and executives within every functional
area of the manufacturing sector, some of our more common
